Changing the PHP version<\/h2>\n

\\nJachOOs cloud hosting<\/a> servers support multiple versions of PHP. Follow these steps to change your account’s PHP version.\\nStep 1:<\/strong> Log in to cPanel with your username and password.\\n\\\"\\\"\\nStep 2: <\/strong> In the SOFTWARE<\/strong> section of the cPanel home screen, click Select PHP Version<\/strong>\\n\\\"\\\"\\nStep 3:<\/strong> The current PHP version is displayed in cPanel. Select the version you want to use in the Current PHP Version list box to modify the PHP version. The upgraded PHP version takes effect right now.\\n\\\"\\\"\\n<\/p>\n

Changing PHP settings<\/h2>\n

\\nYou can modify numerous PHP settings from cPanel in addition to altering the PHP version. PHP extensions, as well as configuration directives like allow_url_fopen, error_log, and others, can be enabled and disabled.\\n<\/p>\n

NB: This feature removes the need to configure and maintain custom php.ini files. Instead, you control all PHP settings directly from cPanel<\/div>\n

\\nTo change your PHP settings, follow these steps\\nStep 1:<\/strong> Log in to cPanel with your username and password.\\n\\\"\\\"\\nStep 2: <\/strong> In the SOFTWARE<\/strong> section of the cPanel home screen, click Select PHP Version<\/strong>\\n\\\"\\\"\\nStep 3: <\/strong>Select which extension you want to enable for the current PHP version:\\n<\/p>\n

    \\n \\t<\/p>\n
  • To enable an extension, select the check box next to the extension name.<\/li>\n

    \\n \\t<\/p>\n

  • To disable an extension, clear the check box next to the extension name.\\n\\\"\\\"<\/li>\n

    \\n \\t<\/p>\n

  • Selections are saved automatically.<\/li>\n

    \\n<\/ul>\n

    \\n<\/p>\n

    NB: To reset the extension list to the default configuration, click Reset to default in the top right corner.<\/div>\n

    \\nStep 4: To change settings for current PHP version.\\n<\/p>\n

      \\n \\t<\/p>\n
    1. Near the top of the page, click the Options tab.<\/li>\n

      \\n \\t<\/p>\n

    2. Click the value next to the setting that you want to modify.<\/li>\n

      \\n \\t<\/p>\n

    3. Depending on the type of setting, a list box may appear with predefined settings that you can choose. Or, a text box may appear so you can type the value:\\n\\\"\\\"<\/li>\n

      \\n \\t<\/p>\n

    4. Changes are saved automatically, and take effect immediately.<\/li>\n

      \\n<\/p>\n

      NB: When you modify a setting, a Reset to default link appears beneath the setting label. Click the link to change the setting back to the default value.<\/div>\n
